The Militia for @nimals in Quebec along with all the victims of apathy and greed confined with no voice and no choice in the puppy mills of our province are inviting you to a our demonstration in Montreal.

Why must we get together?
BECAUSE MR. CHAREST's SECRETARY CONFIRMED THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE TIME TO MEET US AND THEM… BECAUSE NOBODY REALIZES THAT:

CRUELTY TO ANIMALS = CRUELTY TO CHILDREN = DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

MAKE SURE HIS SUFFERING AND DEATH WERE NOT IN VAIN...

We get together because we wish to honour all those who were borned and died in hell, completely forgotten, without a name or carress, in fear, in distress, in pain and in indifference in those squalid puppy mills that proliferate with the implicit consent of those who have the power but not the will to protect them. We must be there for them since we MUST not tolerate puppy mills anymore!

This demonstration will be held

at Park Jarry on March 18, 2007 at 13h00

and then on Saint-Laurent boulevard

Please be as many to express their distress as they are suffering in the puppy mills!

Once again, any message promoting this mode of adoption is welcomed. Bring your loyal companion with you if temperature allows! Together, we can be part of the solution and stop being part of this shameful problem and situation that too many endorse, support or deliberately ignore. The Militia for @nimals in Quebec, and those who believe that it is our duty to ensure security and well-being of our domestic animals strongly, refuse any compromise and we demand that once and for all the puppy mills in Quebec are denounced and closed down.

Note : Since you will be with your pet companion (should temperature allows), we do recommend, that with courtesy and respect, we all make sure we collect any souvenir our pet might leave behind. In that regards, the Militia for @nimals in Quebec will be able to provide you with free disposal bags to fulfill that need should it occur. Please litter respectfully. Respect has to be deserved, not demanded as you all know. Furthermore, dogs must be on leash at all times (see attached). We recommend that you provide for your pet convenient and warm clothing should the temperature impose such requirement. Any overflow or inadequate behavior will not be tolerated and any regrettable incident of such nature will immediately end our get together. We thank you, should you desire to bring any posters, banners to promote the message we wish to express as far as the protection and security of our animals is concerned. We trust everyone will be courteous as we address our claims to the prime minister. We know we can count on you but it is our moral and legal obligation to advise accordingly.

Pourquoi une manifestation?
PARCE QUE LA SECRÉTAIRE DE MONSIEUR CHAREST A CONFIRMÉ PAR ÉCRIT QU'IL N'A PAS LE TEMPS DE NOUS RENCONTRER, QU'IL NE VEUT DONC PAS ENTENDRE LA VOIX DE MILLIONS D'ANIMAUX QUI SOUFFRENT...

CRUAUTÉ ANIMAUX = CRUAUTÉ ENFANTS = VIOLENCE FAMILIALE

CE CHIEN NE DOIT PAS AVOIR SOUFFERT ET ÊTRE MORT EN VAIN!

Parce ces animaux qui souffrent dans les usines, hangars, granges, et cabanons à chiots ont besoin de votre voix. Rendons ensemble un vibrant hommage à ceux qui sont nés et morts dans l'oubli, sans nom et sans caresse, dans la peur, la détresse, la souffrance et dans l'indifférence de ces usines insalubres qui prolifèrent avec le consentement implicite de ceux qui peuvent et doivent les en empêcher mais qui n'agissent pas. Parce que l'exploitation des animaux au Québec, nous ne tolérerons plus!

Il nous faut des outils concrets et efficaces pour protéger nos animaux de compagnie. C'en est assez de plus de cent ans d'inertie en pareille matière! Nous avons le devoir moral, social mais surtout individuel de mettre un terme aux activités clandestines et aux pratiques indignes et cruelles des propriétaires d'usines à chiots de notre province dont la triste réputation a traversé depuis trop longtemps nos frontières. Dans ce but, nous souhaitons clairement indiquer au premier ministre Jean Charest ainsi qu'au ministre Vallières que le laxisme, la nonchalance, l'inertie, la magnanimité, l'indifférence, la collusion et les conflits d'intérêts dont nous avons été témoins et dont les animaux ont été victimes ne seront plus tolérés.

Ensemble, faisons partie de la solution et ne soyons pas partie du problème que certains endossent, tolèrent, cautionnent ou ignorent délibérément. La Milice @nimale du Québec et tous ceux qui croient de leur devoir d'assurer la sécurité et le bien-être des animaux refusent tout compromis et exigent que soient une fois pour toutes dénoncées et fermées les usines à chiots du Québec.

Invitez vos parents, voisins, amis, collègues, votre vétérinaire à joindre leurs pas aux nôtres! Car nous devons être aussi nombreux à exprimer leur détresse qu'eux le sont à agoniser en silence!

Note : En tant que participant accompagné d’un chien, nous vous demandons, par courtoisie et respect, de voir au ramassage de tout reliquat que votre animal pourrait laisser sur notre parcours. Si nous souhaitons le respect, nous devons le mériter... La Milice @nimale du Québec fournira gratuitement sur les lieux des petits sacs à cet effet. D’autre part, vous êtes tenus de maintenir votre chien en laisse en tout temps comme l’exige le règlement municipal (pièce jointe). Nous recommandons que votre animal de compagnie, s’il nous accompagne, soit protégé adéquatement en fonction de la température. Aucun débordement, aucun comportement inadéquat ne sera toléré et tout regrettable incident de cette nature mettra immédiatement fin à l’événement. Nous vous remercions, si vous souhaitez apporter des affiches, bannières et/ou panneaux pour promouvoir le message que vous souhaitez livrer au ministre, de bien vouloir demeurer courtois. Nous savons que nous pouvons compter sur vous mais il est de notre devoir et notre obligation légale de le mentionner.
